Metrolinx has launched a video of three younger folks narrowly avoiding being hit by a GO practice to bolster the risks of strolling on railway tracks.
The surveillance video, shot from the cab of a GO practice, exhibits one individual standing on adjoining tracks whereas two others run in entrance of the practice. One of many runners crosses straight in entrance of the practice earlier than throwing themselves in opposition to a railing, narrowly dodging being hit. The opposite runner veers off onto the adjoining tracks because the practice passes by. Metrolinx mentioned the incident occurred on Could 20.
The Crown company mentioned the video is of the Humber River overpass in Etobicoke, south of Freeway 401 at Weston Highway.
