Ukraine’s president desires even more durable Western sanctions to ship a message to the Kremlin that ‘brute power’ is not going to prevail.
However Russia says its economic system is weathering the storm from the sanctions.
Is the continued battle complicating efforts to discover a diplomatic answer?
