French President Emmanuel Macron has held a sequence of cellphone calls with US President Biden and Russia’s Putin on Sunday
Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Joe Biden have each agreed in “precept” to carry a gathering to halt escalation of battle in Ukraine, the Elysee Palace mentioned in a press release on Sunday evening.
Emmanuel Macron “proposed a summit to be held between President Biden and President Putin after which with related stakeholders to debate safety and strategic stability in Europe,” based on the assertion.
Presidents Biden and Putin have each accepted the precept of such a summit.
Nonetheless, such a gathering “can solely be held on the situation that Russia doesn’t invade Ukraine,” the Elysee palace added.
